everything about The Fenix Porto is first rate - the suites are huge commanding fine views . We have stayed there 3 times in the last 18 months and when we visit Porto again we will be back there. the bar offers excellent value for money and the breakfasts are among the best on the Iberian peninsular
Food in the bar area could be improved

I don't think that it would be possible to find such high quality hotel for this price. The room was huge, clean and very comfortable. I would go back to Portugal for two reasons: Cintra, which is an amazing city and this hotel, cheap but one of the best hotels ever.
I didn't like that I was there for just one day

Fairly clean hotel in a good and stunning location with magnificent views over the town. Early check-in, excellent co-operating employees. Functional room and fashionable, with a mini bar, a work desk and a TV. Outstanding food selection on continental breakfast. Overall really enjoyable stay of booking 2 months before the holiday.

The hotel is light and airy. The front staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was large with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom and loads of hot water. Breakfast was good (I have to say the coffee machine in the breakfast room made the greatest coffee - more hotels should have one !!

Can just recommend for a short visit
Spacious room, friendly staff, where we enjoyed the good breakfast with plenty of fresh choices. The hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the Casa da Musica.
Nothing to criticize.

The staff were superb. The friendliest & most helpful staff I have encountered in many years.
The beds were very hard - like sleeping on granite.

I had a spacious room overlooking the street. Each morning, I enjoyed a breakfast with many options, which fueled my days exploring the area. The staff were helpful.
The hotel is not close to the riverside, and walking to the main attractions took much longer than expected. There were busloads of tourists checking in and out.
